Some Really Quick Randoms
Random #1: Beeeeach time!
Like I mentioned last week, we are heading to the beach this weekend for the holiday. Torrance’s mom will be accompanying us (she flew in yesterday) and we are meeting his aunt and uncle there and will be camping. I’m really excited, though the weather is supposed to be a little so-so. I’m just excited to check out NC beaches and do a little relaxing.
We decided that rather than rush around after work and spend 4 hours driving and get there late and go right to bed, we would just leave early tomorrow instead. Poor Kona doesnt get to go with and she will be at home with her new dog walker friend who will be coming to let her out multiple times per day.
I am going to try to do something different this weekend and actually take pictures. I have been so bad about it lately. Especially when drinking is involved I usually put my camera away because I’m always worried I will drop it or lose it.
Random #2: Tattoo
I have been considering getting a tattoo.
Let me rephrase that. I really want a tattoo and the issue I have always had is that I never knew what I wanted or where I wanted it. It’s a big commitment ya know?
So now, I have decided what, and where I want it, I just have to psych myself up because unfortunately the place I want it is going to be painful. I am a huge wuss and probably wont actually ever be able to do it. But a girl can dream.
Random #3: Guest post!
Incase I for some reason am unable to post and link tomorrow (since I will be on the road), I just wanted to give you guys a heads up that I wrote up a really fun guest post for the lovely Liesl over at Pretty Random Things, so make sure you guys go over there tomorrow and check it out! I will be sharing the scary things that are in my purse…be afraid. It isnt quite as orderly as my gym bag.

I’m like you when it comes to a tattoo. I’ve always thought about getting one but don’t know where to get it or what to get! If I did get one I’d want it somewhere that it could be visible if I chose, like my foot or inside wrist, or I could easily cover it. Oh, and your dog is just too cute!!
That is where I have decidd!! is on my foot. It’s kind of a swirly one so it’d be on top of my foot and wrap up my ankle a little. Sounds so painful though doesn’t it? Haha
i was terrified to get a tattoo at first but mine werent really that bad…you should def get one! i love mine
i have one on the inside of each of my arms so they are noticeable but not anything crazy.
im BBQing all weekend long!! cant wait to kick back and relax with friends

I wanna see the tattoo of your dreams SO MUCH, esp on the foot! I have a tiny wave on the inside of my right ankle which I love to this day (I got it about 4.5 years ago). I wanted it on the inside of my foot, but the artist explained that the skin sloughs off of that particular area (side of foot, didn’t talk about top of foot) so it’d be better to get it where it wouldn’t fade.
My big plan this weekend is a food-eating relay race, for which I can’t wait!

yes! i dont have the exact of what i want but i pretty much know. a lilly and star mixture with like one big lilly on top of my foot and maybe one more small one and then some swirlies with stars that go up the outside of my ankle a little! i will share of course if i ever get brave enough one day haha
I have a tattoo on my upper back. It’s of a horse rearing. Can’t say I regret it….yet anyway! Now when I’m old and my skin starts sagging I might.
Mine didn’t hurt but now my bf got one on his upper arms and he about cried like a baby, hehe.
I love tattoos — but I’m not at all committed enough to get one. Ever. Plus I’m a huge baby. Can’t wait to see yours!!
I don’t have one and I wouldn’t get ever get one … but that’s because: 1. I don’t tolerate pain or discomfort well and 2. I don’t think there’s anything I’d want on my body for the rest of my life. But I’m not against them at all for other people. My husband has one on his upper back between his shoulder blades. It’s a bass clef (not sure I’m spelling that correctly) because he plays bass guitar. I think he looks hot with it.
I know, i love tatttoos on guys! that is awesome. and totally with you on the committment. that is kinda my issue because i know its forever! scary!
Exciting! I have a few and I don’t think they were all that bad. Some were more painful than others. Warning, they can be addictive! I’m excited to see what you end up getting!!

I just came up with a tattoo idea too…but I’m pretty sure I’m too much of a wuss to follow through with it.

I have a tattoo on my right hip and I love it. I’ve had it for almost 7 years now, and I don’t regret it. I got a cross because I feel that my faith is the only thing 100% permanent in my life. One of my friends got one on her foot/ankle and said it was painful but not too terribly bad. I didn’t think mine hurt at all, but I have an extremely high pain tolerance (and the hip area is not nearly as sensitive as the foot). I can’t wait to see if you get it! I want another one, but it will be a little bit before I can get it.
