A Refreshing Weekend
Morning!
This weekend was honestly, so refreshing.
We spent pretty much all weekend at home – which between our lake trips, moving, going to Alaska, and our trip to Vegas… it has been months since we have had a weekend with no obligations. (Don’t get me wrong… definitely not complaining about all our fun “obligations” this summer!)
I was able to completely clean my house, which was nice. I even cleaned out my closet (i.e. got rid of some clothes) and made the time to pull apart my necklaces that had ended up in a giant tangled ball.
I also made some good food….
Pancake recipe to come, and also – I did a little more baking with zucchini, so I have another good recipe for ya there!

I’m looking forward to getting back into my usual routine – including training 3x a week and a workout/run by myself over the weekend.
Since I didn’t go to training all last week with being sick (I hate working out when I’m sick!) I’m sure I will be all kinds of sluggish there this week.
Have a great Monday!
- Highlight of your weekend?
- Any good eats over the weekend?
- Do you prefer pancakes or French toast?

I had some delicious curry at a local Thai place, it was pretty fantastic! I like the tray you have your necklaces on – very cute.
My necklaces need to be sorted and detangled desperately, I just keep putting it off. I like how you have them separated, way better than the bowl I have mine in.
i found that tray thing in the candle section at a department store! super cheap and it works well! at least for a while before I get in a hurry and start throwing them in there to get tangled! haha
i love weekends with no obligations..this was the last sunday we had free of obligations for a while so it was nice just to chill and cook together
highlight of my weekend was probably my 18 mile run that went really well!! and i’m a huge fan of both pancakes and french toast..its tough but i’d probably say pancakes
I love pancakes, esspecially crepes. Do you like. Zuchini with ch eese?
