Cali Trip Part 2 – Valetine’s Day & San Fran
I meant to post part 2 of my trip recap last week shortly after Part 1, but ya know, I just didn’t get to it.
Anyway, as you may know, Torrance and I don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day typically. But, since I was with my lovely sister – that is different duh!
We spent the day getting our toes and nail done, and then headed over to her friends house for a fun dinner and some wine.

It was nice and mellow and fun (and we all stuffed out faces).
Aw we are so festive with our pink and red!

The very last day that I was there (Friday, since I left Saturday morning) we actually headed to San Francisco. I have been to San Fran a few times in the past as well – but I think this one was my favorite trip for some reason. And hey, the weather was actually really good and not even cold!

We ate some good food (of course), rode the trolly (or Rice A Roni train as my sister calls it), walked the wharf, and checked out the Golden Gate.

Yes, check out all that hair! You can’t go to San Fran without a little wind though!
That trip was sooo much fun and I wish I could go back next week.

Have a great Wednesday!
- Ever been to San Fran? If so – what types of touristy things did you do/see? If not – is it somewhere you’d like to go?
- Are you a Valentine’s Day person, or no?
I’m not, I think its basically a full on Hallmark Holiday anymore!

Your pics are great! I love your long hair and great smile! Glad you had fun with your sis!
Aw thank you Rachel, you are so sweet!!!
The last time I was in San Francisco was New Years Eve 2005. The city was absolutely crazy.
I usually like to spend time by the water, whether that’s shopping, eating, or just watching the wildlife.
I agree, I love being on the/near the water
I wish I could remember my trip to California better than I do. I think that just means I have to go back again!
Looks like you had a blast. And I love your hair!!
Aw thank you! I hate my hair because I am too much of a wuss to do anything “fun” with it!! hahaha, but I guess it could always be worse (the optimist in me!!)
I’ve been to san fran once on our trip down to our new home. It was so fun!! We went to the pier and ate soup in a breadbowl and drove across the bridge. Awesome touristy stuff!
So funny, i actually REALLY wanted chowder in a bread bowl but it ended up being HOT out (which happens like, 2 days a year probably?) and it just didnt really sound good once i started getting all sweaty and stuff walking around haha
I love Cali but have never been to San Francisco! Sounds like a blast!
LOVE San Francisco! The diversity of the people and businesses totally blew me away. My favorite part was eating EVERYTHING
